Biography
Since beginning her career as an attorney more than 15 years ago, Lisa Dormann has devoted their career to helping families across Northeast Ohio through some of life’s most difficult transitions. Whether guiding a client through divorce or dissolution of marriage, navigating child custody issues, or assisting clients with domestic violence civil protection orders, Lisa approaches every case with compassion, honesty, and a steady focus on achieving the best possible outcome.
Clients appreciate Lisa’s ability to combine practical legal advice with genuine care and understanding. Family law matters can be emotional and complex, and Lisa believes that every client deserves not only a skilled and strong advocate but also a supportive partner who listens and helps them feel confident throughout the process.
For more than 15 years, Lisa Dormann has represented clients in counties throughout Northeast Ohio—including Cuyahoga, Summit, Lake, Lorain, Medina, and Geauga—handling cases involving divorce and dissolution of marriage, custody and parenting time, child and spousal support, and post-decree matters. She is well-known for her thoughtful, down-to-earth approach and commitment to protecting what matters most: family and future.
Lisa is sought after by various courts and attorneys across Northeast Ohio to serve as Guardian ad Litem for complex family law matters, including contested divorce actions, private custody disputes, and abuse/dependency/neglect matters. Her training and experience serving as a Guardian ad Litem in hundreds of cases puts her in a unique position to serve clients as an advocate fighting for the best interests of children and families.
Lisa has previously been an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and regularly participates in continuing education to stay current on developments in Ohio family law.
When not practicing law, Lisa enjoys spending time with family, watching her beloved Cleveland sports teams, and playing pool.
